Viss is located in West Persia at the street from Arak to Isfahan. There is literally a loom in almost every household. Carpet production began here only in the 60's but the result are stunning. Viss rugs are considered to be of high quality and very long lasting. They use vegetable dyeswhich became quite rare in recent carpet production. Viss rugs mostly have a dominant hexagon as a medallion.
