Aubusson

Aubusson is the name of a city in the French Department Creuse. The Aubusson rug is a French Gobelin rug with floral decors and a baroque style design. The Aubusson art of carpet making had a decisive impact on the designs of Kerman and Hereke rugs. Nowadays Aubusson designs are often being copied especially in China.
