Darjazin

Darjazin is a village in the province of Hamadan. Hamadan is located in the North-West of Iran, it has an ancient tradition of carpet making. Usually Darjazin rugs have a tasteful rather simple floral design and are very durable rugs. Darjazins are mostly woven with the Persian knot as opposed to the Turkish knot with which most Persian rugs are made.
