Karapinar

Karapinar is located in Central Anatolia approx. 100 km East of Konya. The carpet production can look back on an old tradition. The wide and generously geometric designs are characteristic for Karapinar rugs and remind of old Kazaks (also the shiny relatively high pile reminds of Kazak). However, the design traditions of Karapinar are original and exclusive to this beautiful provenance of rugs.
