Rudbar

Rudbar is located in North West Iran and is a small city at the road to Ghazwin. The neighboring city of Resht at the Caspian Sea has a highly developed texile art culture which heavily influenced Rudbar's weaving traditions. The rugs made in Rudbar are mostly with Herati design and are known for their distinguished fineness. The rugs are knotted with the Turkish knot.
