Yalameh

Yalameh is located in West-central Iran and belongs to the region of Isfahan (Esfahan). Most Yalameh are made by Ghashgai half-nomads. The design is mostly dominated by tasteful squares or rhombs and is mostly colorful. Colors usually used are a royal blue, a deep red and delicate greens. All in all you can say that Yalameh rugs are sort of "cultivated" nomadic rugs.
